Andre and I have spent years traveling through the country and working in fine dining restaurants. We’ve cooked at the Michelin level; we’ve cooked French, Italian, Spanish, and everything in between; but, what we’ve realized is that we constantly miss our grandma’s cooking.

That’s what Luke’s is all about for us- we want to try to invoke the nostalgia of grandmas house every day.

We want to create a spot that feels like Grandma would make us feel- safe, comfortable, relaxed. We believe that if we focus on embracing Texas products, heirloom grains, and local produce; and combine them with fine dining techniques we can begin to honor our grandmas- even if, let’s face it- we’ll never cook as well as them.
